The SIXth meeting in FRANCE

The last meeting of schools' reprezentatives from Poland, Norway and France took place in Collège François Auguste Ravier in Morestel between 26th and 31st May 2013.
We had opportunities to visit our hosts' school, nice town – Morestel, meet the mayor of Morestel and also take part in tours to Annency and Grenoble. We learnt about the history of these places and tourists' attractions. For our students very emotional was water rafting on Rhodan River.
The most important, during this meeting, was our work on ending the project, also preparing the final report for National Agency, filling EST base which consists all products our international cooperation, accumulating materials on website. Students took part in, preparing special for them, sports activities, they watched theatre play connected with pacifist movement, they prepared posters about countries which took part in the project.
Impressions from the meeting have been incredible. The hosts prepared everything perfectly. All hosts' families were very warm. All teachers and students have regretted that it is the last meeting. During these two years of project we have struck up friendships which – let's hope – will survive the time trial.
The SIXth meeting in POLAND

From 11th to 15th of March in Nowa Dęba, the Comenius meeting took place, in which teachers and students from Norway and France took part.
We started from visiting our school. The headmaster of Gimnasium was our guide and presented us classrooms and sports hall. We also met with the mayor of Nowa Dęba Mr Wiesław Ordon in The House of Culture. He told our guests about history of Nowa Dęba and about its developement. We also visited The House of Culture. After it we went for a walk in the town and finally we arrived to Biliński Company. We visited the museum of balls there and took part in decorating workshops. In the evening teachers and students took part in dancing classes – Polish, folk dances were presented.
During next two days we visited different places in which – according to project subject – we learnt about chosen, historical aspects of our country. We were in Archeological Museum and Reserve „Krzemionki” in Krzemionki Opatowskie, we visited Sandomierz. In Łańcut we admired the castle, orangery and orchises garden. After the trips whole group could relax in the swimming pool in Nowa Dęba.
In the last day, we met during the working session in The House of Culture. Students presented multimedial presentations and teksts connected with some of chosen historical aspects: everyday life during World War II, the time after ending World War II, Cold War, The Autumn of Nations, European Union. On the base of presented marerials, teachers pointed similarities and differences in those subjects between countries which participate in the projects.
In the evening, we all met on farewell dinner. Polish students presented funny fashion show during which we were laughing at stereotypes in perceiving other nations. Then some talented students were singing and dancing. We also presented the film from meeting in Italy. The evening was ended by delicious dinner prepared by parents.
On Friday morning we said goodbye to our guests. That was wery sad for all, some students were crying. But we will have one more chance to meet in May, in Morestel in France.
The fifth meeting in Norway

The representatives from Poland and France second time took part in meeting in Høyanger which was organised between 2nd and 7th December 2012.
We visited the partner high school in Høyanger and primary school in Kyrkjebø. We also took part in some lessons like Music, English or Phisical Education. Our students enjoyed the cooking classes very much during which lunch for all was prepared. Students also took part in integrational lesson in school and then all went to Sunnfjord Folkemuseum where students created traditional Norwegian goblin from eccological materials. In Førde we visited Art Museum and in free time we played bowling.
The mayor of the town met with the group and told us about the history and developement of Høyanger. We also visited the aluminium factory.
The most important part of the meeting was work on histories of our countries. Each group presented ten the most important events in history of Poland, France and Norway.The French prepared the special time line on which they situated events prepared by other partners. Teachers were working on next meetings, planning all necessary steps. The meeting in Poland will be in March and in France in May 2013.
During the way home we admired wonderful views – we saw the longest fiord in Norway - Sognefjord. We also stayed in Bergen – the second biggest city in Norway.
Both parents and teachers in Høyanger were very warmth. They organised the celebration during which students sang popular songs from different countries and parents prepared traditional, delicious delicacies. Our students enjoyed very much the Christmas party in which all students, parents, teachers and Comenius group took part.
The fourth meeting in Italy

The fourth meeting of international Comenius groups from France, Poland, Norway and Italy took place in Carovignio between 14th and 20th October 2012. We visited two Italian schools which take part in our project, charming town of our hosts which is situated in south part of Italy in Apulia region and towns in neighbourhood like Ostuni, Otranto, Alberobello, Polignano. We learnt about history of these towns and visited many wonderful places. Our students were working on different subjects connected with histories of our countries like: Christianity, Vikings, Trade in XIII century, Ghotic Atr, Dynastic marriages or Industrial rewolution – preparing multimedial presentations. Teachers were summarising works, planning next steps, terms of next meetings and activities connected with project.
Also, the mayor of Carovignio met with our group.
During the first and last evenings we met with Italian parents who prepared for us traditional, delicious food. In the first evening each group presented multimedial presentation about the history of own cities and Polish group presented the film about meeting in Nowa Dęba in May 2012. In the last evening Italian students prepared the show full of dance and music.
In Italy we were surprised by the weather, there was still summer. In free time our students had chance to swim in ocean. The meeting in Carovignio will stay in our memory for long thanks to warmth and hospitality of our friends from Italy, exotic meditarinien nature and unusual experiences in learning the history of south Italy.
THIRD MEETING IN POLAND

From 20th to 24th May in Gimnasium nr 1 im.
Papieża Jana Pawła II in Nowa Dęba, the guests from France, Italy
and Norway took part in Comenius meeting.
During the first day our friends visited school, classrooms and
sports gimnasium. Then they met with the deputy headmaster in high
school, who invited them on history, IT and English lessons.
From the school, we went to Local Cultural Centre where the
meeting with the mayor of the town Nowa Dęba Mr Wiesław Ordon was
organised. He told our guests about the history of the town and
perspectives of development for Nowa Dęba. Next he invited all of us
to small food and drink. Foreign students and teachers got a few
presents to remember the city.
Evening, we spent on local rifle range where the bonfire and
shooting competition were organised.
Next two days we spent visiting interesting places surrounded
Nowa Dęba. We were in Sandomierz, Kolbuszowa heritage park where the
teachers and students could take part in art lessons and learn about
Lasowiak Culture. We also visited Rzeszów.
All of us could spend free time on indoor swimming pool.
The last day we spent in Local Cultural Centre. First, teachers
analysed prepared products and planned next parts of work. After
that, all together watched films and presentations, prepared by
students, connected with families' stories and historical museums.
The students took part in choice of logo of the project.
In the evening, in our school was organised the farewell
party, with artistic part, watching films about meeting in Norway
and quizz checking the knowledge about our partners' countries. Then
all went to the dinner prepared by parents. Disco for students was
the last part of the evening.
25th
May was the last day, the day of saying good-bye. Both Polish and
foreign students shedded tears.
SECOND MEETING IN NORWAY

The second meeting of schools which
are taking part in the project „The stories of your story” was
organized in Norway in Høyanger Skule from 19th to 23rd
March 2012.
There were students and teachers from Poland, Italy and
France. During the journey we could admire the Sognefjord – the
longest fiord in Norway and the second longest all over the world.
We were visiting the lovely town surrounded by beautiful
mountains and the school-girls from the highest class told us the
history of the city. We visited The Industry Museum, because the
development of Høyanger is connected with aluminium production.
All teachers and students were invited for lunch by the mayor of the
town.
We also worked on the project, showing different stories
connected with cities which take part in the meeting and histories
of students' families. The school from Poland showed a film from
first meeting in France. Teachers met to plan the activities on the
nearest meetings. The visit in Poland will take place in May and in
Italy in October 2012. All students took part in integrated
activities like sports games, they also went to house in mountains
and skied. They were on a concert of songs from 70's prepared by
students from 10th year.
Polish and French had also chance to visit the second largest
city in Norway – Bergen, especially the set of Hanseatic buildings
which is on the list of world's heritage of UNESCO.
Both hosting families and teachers were very warm-hearted.
They organized the celebration during which students sang popular
songs from different countries and all guests could tried the local
specialities. The meeting in Norway was great.
FIRST MEETING IN FRANCE

On the
12th
and 18th November 2011,
Collège François Auguste Ravier in Morestel
hosted representatives from partner schools from
Norway, Italy
and Poland within the implementation of Comenius project The
stories of your history.
To Morestel
teachers
and students
came from
Høyanger Skule (Norway), Scuola Secondaria Statale di I grado"A. M.
Cavallo - S. Morelli" (Italy), Gimnazjum nr 1 im. Papieża Jana Pawła
II w Nowej Dębie (Poland).
Most of the time we spent at school where we were realizing
activities connected with project. Each school presented materials
which were prepared within the framework of project. There were
shown the multimedia presentations about the towns of partner
schools,
students' family trees,
the "circle of
origins" etc. We also had opportunity to see many interesting places
near Morestel. We visited Lyon, Crémieu and Chambéry.
For both teachers and students was extremly interesting to
find out something about unusual history. The youth, living in the
friends' houses, discovered everyday life of French families and
French cuisine.
The nice atmosphere was created by hospitality both the school
headmistress and the coordinator Eglantine
Wuillot and of course all French teachers
taking part in the project.
